Children’s Therapy
Our mission
At Libra Children’s Therapy, we are on a mission…we would like to be able to provide play therapy to children in the Tonbridge and Malling district who would otherwise not be able to access this.
Due to funding cuts in schools, post adoption services and other children’s mental health support, there are many children in our community who have experienced adverse childhood experiences (ACES) but have had no access to support to process their trauma. These unresolved traumas could be carried through to adulthood, potentially putting pressure on our health system in the future.
Working together
We are not just facilitating therapy, we will partner with schools, to identify the children and families most in need. By putting the family at the heart of our practice, we ensure that our support extends beyond the therapy room, fostering lasting positive change for families, schools and our community as a whole
